Founded by Claudio Leenders in 2014, The Surf Café opened its doors on 27th of May 2015 on Jumeirah Beach Road in Umm Suqeim 2 - Dubai.

The Surf Café was created due to lack of casual restaurants for residents of Dubai.Having to walked through the lobby for a casual lunch or dinner in 2012 after a day at the beach was tiring and expensive and a key indicator that there is a great opportunity to create and operate a high end casual restaurant for everyone anytime.
